Training Programme for leaders In an effort for a better involvement by the Church among the workers especially in the unorganized sector, the CBCI Labour Commission has been chosen to send participants for the training programme, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India at V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, on Labour Issues. In this regard we can send some persons either male or female who will be later partners to initiate the labour movement activities. The venue of the program will be at V.V. Giri National Labour Institute. The programme sehedules is available in doucmentation link . Post Card Campaign to highlight Demand for Social Security Labour Commission of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India has launched the Post Card Campaign, to all members of Parliament to demand complete and comprehensive social security for all unorganized workers of the nation. The affiliated labour initatives to Laboure commission have been joined in the endeavor by ubdertaking this post card campaign in thier region and area of operation, sending as many post cards as possible,worded ,'we demand adequate standard of living with dignity and comprehensive social security'.The Labour Commission has completed in its aim of sending numerous post cards to the MPs of Delhi and its NCR.
